Flexibility is a key component that should complement your exercise programme. We need to stretch to maintain that optimal level of flexibility so as not to increase the potential for injury or pain. Dynamic stretching will take place at the beginning of a session to warm the muscles enabling a full range of motion for the up and coming exercise session. Stretching at the end of a session is as important as your exercise and will increase strength and mobility whilst stopping that 48 hour delayed aching.
